You’ve read it right. The site Unikrn has been recently launched. Ready to bet?
The newly launched site lets the fans gamble on competitive gaming match like League of Legends, Counter-Strike, and Call of Duty. However, the eSports betting is only restricted to jurisdictions where online gambling is legal. Unfortunately, fans in Seattle and other states in America can’t join the online betting. But it’s good news for Europeans, Asians and Australians because they will be able to partake in the wagering.
According to CEO and co-founder Rahul Sood, American video game enthusiasts can still view the site and follow the various eSports stats but they won’t be able to place bets.
Recently, the site has partnered with Australian wagering company, Tabcorp to help it control the geographic areas where wagering is offered.
“ESports is one of the largest sports globally, attracting viewer numbers that are on par with traditional sports such as American football and basketball,” Sood stated during the Unikrn’s launch announcement.
Well, he’s right. Esports is really attracting viewers to engage in an E-betting. With all the improvements and technological advancements around us, there’s no doubt that eSports betting will flourish – what with millions of video gamers and E-betters in the world.
